Since I celebrated my twenty fifth (!!!) birthday last weekend, so my little things are mostly about that day. I wanted it small and only with my closest friends and it was perfect! My sister and I made some delicious sweets the day before. And at midnight my father, boyfriend, sister and sisters boyfriend sang me four different birthday songs all at once! Hihi. Going through the pictures of that weekend still makes me smile.

1 MAKING the most delicious chocolate cupcakes with my sister. Enough calories for the whole week, but so good! 2 BIRTHDAY sweets: little cupcakes made by our niece Roos, homemade coconut cookies (granny’s recipe), my moms mandarin cheesecake and the chocolate cupcakes. Yummy! 3 CELEBRATING this special day with the lovely Loraine :) (how do you like my butterfly dress?) 4 PERFECT and cute cooking book i got from my daddy. It looks like a scrapbook and has the best recipes in it. And THE book of The Selby for some inspiration on the coffee table. (Without coffee because i don’t want any coffee on my books!) 5 TWO perfect gifts. A golden retro Casio watch from the boyfriend and an simple and elegant bracelet from my family. It has a little cross (on its side) in the middle and stands for ‘Hope, love and protection’. 6 & 7 GETTING the apartment ready for spring which means: cleaning (made Domo smile), organizing (all books by color. Yes i know) and some DIY projects on our wall. We’re collecting some favorite prints and things to spice up our wall. Work in progress.

Seems like such a lovely day! ^^ Mine (3 weeks ago and also 25) was pretty plain day, just another among others and getting older hasn’t made me any different, hehe. But I did celebrate it later at restaurant with my love. :>
